As a teacher's teacher, Santosh brings an expansive body of yogic knowledge that is intended to channel the physical and subtle energies of the student opening the breath, body and mind. Santosh teaches from the perspective of the five vayus or the great pranas, establishing an energetic balance to the physical and subtle complex of the Being. Combining his study of eastern Ayurvedic medicine and its relevance in asana, results in a fine tuning or equilibrium of the body constitutions. Yoga is rich with possibilities... Hope to see you in class!

As a practicing Pujari, his interest and knowledge of the spiritual practices of Vedic traditions and the connection to yoga is a significant element of his practice. The ancient Vedic traditions are rich with mysticism, ritual and spiritual practice that guide the priest to unfold deep within to uncover and transmit profound subtle forces in the context of classical ceremony, deeper states of conscious absorption and mantra. He guides Sadhana which involves breath work, mantra and meditation tempting an uncovering of the more profound layers of the consciousness. Beginning yogic breathing techniques are practiced or more demanding pranayama purification methods. Many of these methods fall within the traditional Tantric practices. Santosh is classically trained in Tantric meditation and Raja Yoga, the yoga of the mind.
